Adding the new Google Analytics ga.js tracking to WordPress

Google analytics has changed the way its tracking occurs. It now uses a different javascript file, ga.js, instead of the legacy urchin.js. I don’t understand fully how it works or what it has changed, but this guy does. He was generous enough to write and release a plugin to add the new tracking system to WordPress.
